Pleasure Passed was created from page 19 in The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, published in 2005. This one’s big, especially compared to my others. It would work well on gallery walls as a focal point and it really stands out on colored or textured walls.
These are blackout poems made from actual book pages I selected from novels and reimagined on fabric. I used unbleached cotton canvas, black cotton, and HTV to recreate the look and feel of classic blackout poetry, but in textile form! It’s been such a fun process, and I’m really proud (and a little giddy) to share them.
XLarge: W 19.5in x L27.5 in. This is a pretty large size, especially compared to others.
