The Sandswept wall quilt was handmade by me in my home studio! This piece is one of four landscape inspired quilts. All 4 of these beautiful pieces were created to be hung as art. These quilts were each created using an assortment of cotton quilting fabrics, a mix of cotton and poly thread and the batting is made from one layer 100% cotton and the other an 80/20 cotton blend.
RAW EDGE QUILTING has a style that embraces imperfection with intentional charm. The raw edges lend a distinct, rustic character to every quilt and I love the touch of authenticity this style brings, it’s unapologetically unfinished.
This piece has small triangles attached in the top corners for easy hanging. You just slide the wooden dowel into place and hang. I will provide a wooden dowel and string with your quilt.
